Virtual Makeover
Submitted by: Donna
Techniques:
- Hair: We chose a classic short style, brushed back on the sides to highlight her cheekbones. Bangs break the width of her forehead.
- Foundation: Auburn beige.
- Brows: We made them fuller and darker, feathered to create a soft look.
- Shadow: Dusky amber contour in the crease.
- Highlighter: We lightened up the entire eye area with alabaster.
- Liner: Dark brown across the entire bottom and the outer third of the upper lid.
- Mascara: Black brown, two applications. Second application on just the outside tips.
- Cheek: Tawny bordeaux applied under the cheekbone and blended.
- Lip: Amber bordeaux.
- Finish off with a light dusting of translucent powder to set.
- Lower neckline but not too deep, and shoulder pads to counteract the narrowing effect of the lower neckline. Shoulder pads are flat, to extend without raising them, which would make the neck appear shorter.
- The red plum in the dress is smart, slimming, sophisticated and very professional.
- The earrings enhance the face shape and finish off the professional look. An asymmetrically placed matching pin adds interest.
