Virtual Makeover

Techniques:

• Hair: Piecey styles are on the way out and softer looks are coming back in. This asymmetrical side sweep is in keeping with Gisele's trendy personal style and in harmony with her flamboyant new spring look.
• Foundation: We applied Revlon Age-Defying Makeup in Natural Tan, which comes in a dual compact with coordinated concealer for use on blemishes and under eyes.
• Brows: Slight darkening and evening with Brown Black Revlon ColorStay Brow Color.
• Shadow: Revlon's Coffee Bean is the perfect shade, unfortunately only available in the Wet/Dry Quad compact. There's just a touch in the outer half of the crease and blended up.
• Highlighter: None necessary, due to naturally well-contoured eyes. We used foundation in the eye area to even out the skin tone.
• Liner: The wide stripe of Navy pencil on the bottom eyelid is another trendy touch. We used Almay's Navy Gel Pencil across the outer seven-eighths of the lower eye.
• Mascara: Lashes are beefed up with Revlon Extra Thick Blackest Black mascara. Two applications if necessary.
• Cheek: We used Color Me Beautiful's Instant Contour Stick No. 2 to add color and enhance cheekbones.
• Lip: Lip color is Revlon's Moisturous Lip Color in Wet Wet Red. It's a bright color, which her outfit requires, and she can handle the brightness easily.
• Finish off with a light dusting of translucent powder to set.
• Lower neckline but not too deep, and perhaps shoulder pads to counteract the narrowing effect of the lower neckline. Shoulder pads should be flat, to extend without raising them, which would make the neck appear shorter.
• Spring fashions aren't widely available yet, so we had to create the bright tropical print from a flamboyant print pareo from the azure Jasper Orchids Collection available exclusively at Blue Sky Swimwear. Swimsuits are available in the same pattern.
• The red coral and gold marquis drop earrings are from the Maui Divers Jewelry Red Coral Collection at Hilo Hattie. They're the perfect accent to her colorful triadic (red/blue/yellow) color scheme, as are the matching pendants and rings.
